intimate photograph of bride and groom looking at each other at Sloans Glasgow wedding

Glasgow wedding photography

Glasgow city centre weddings are a lot of fun, and can be a real reflection of the couple who are getting married. Glasgow itself is so vibrant and full of character, it would be hard for this not to be reflected in the wedding! You are never too far away from some incredible architecture, fun people and the huge murals that are scattered around the city.

Sloans Glasgow wedding photography // Vickie and Colin

Sloans Glasgow was the perfect setting for Vickie and Colin’s relaxed, fun filled, family day. Vickie got ready with her close family at the Grand Central hotel and then walked down Buchanan Street to Sloan’s arm in arm with her dad. It was a sunny Saturday afternoon and to say the crowds were out in force would be an understatement! So many well-wishers stopped the bridal party along the way to offer congratulations which really added to the occasion.

This was my first experience of a bride being cheered down the aisle by her husband to be and their guests! It was an incredible atmosphere and a very personal ceremony.

Add in killer confetti canons, pints of lager, a great Scottish summer’s evening, mac and cheese, and an epic party and you’ve got Vickie and Colin’s big day!

This Glasgow wedding photography also appears on my 2018 roundup which you can should also have a look at…
